Anyone need a trading platform?

Discussion in 'Automated Trading' started by cray, May 28, 2012.

  1. Jargon aside - what does your "platform" do that is not available in any number of free or inexpensive "platforms" already available?

TradeStation comes with massive data, script language, order placement objects and great facility for automating trade strategies.

Is there anything at all that your "platform" does better than TradeStation or any of the other readily available "platforms?"

Without specifics this is just more buzz words from another unknown.

  2. Yes, since OP hasn't been heard from in a week, it's reasonable to guess it's vaporware.

  3. The question which always haunts me....

If it works so good, why does one need to obtain monthly rental/lease income?

You would think the profits from their automation would be sufficient...

That goes for subscription based chat rooms as well... "access to a world class trader only $99/month" ... Why would a successful trader need augment his income with a news letter or chat room?

Not to mention 3 post OP... smells fishy to me...

  4. They weren't offering algos, they were offering an API to access market data.

Nobody does that for free, nor should they be expected to.

  5. I know, just smells like a scam... admittedly I am rather suspicious and cynical...
