Here's an update on my use of a Mac with TradeStation: No problems.

I have been using Parallels for more than 4 months now, and haven't had any issues. Even with some resource intensive Mac apps running, the Windows NT within Parallels runs TradeStation like butter. I have 2 gigs of RAM - which all gets used - so I would recommend having at least that much if you use the same setup.

Note that I don't actively use TradeStation during the day - my system is completely automated. Again, no problems running fully automated every trading day this year.

    Enjoy,

  2. Successful here as well.

TWS, Oanda, Trade-Ideas Pro (via Crossover), InvestorRT with DTN IQfeed. No hassles. Smooth as butter.

  3. Does this require you to run Parallels/ Bootcamp, or do these run in the OSX format?

  4. All of these are either Java or OS X format, except Trade Ideas Pro, which is a Straight Windows program. However, I don't need parallels to run it, I run it under Crossover.. Less of a resource hog than having parallels running.
