From my experience my Ice baths have been painful for about 48 seconds then my body acclimates. I do win hof breath work daily as part of my morning meditation. One thing I’ve introduced in my morning sessions is flushing the lymphatic with bouncing for 10 min. Lol
I still can't wrap my head around ice baths. It must be the "sudden death" thing in the article I posted earlier. But who knows? Maybe one day I'll work up to it. For now, a 2-minute cold shower seems plenty, especially as the cold water will get even older as winter approaches. So you do the WHM breathwork once a day? Never heard of bouncing. Why do you feel you need to do it? Is it really a thing? Accepted by mainstream medicine? And, if so, should I be looking into a pogo stick?
Okay, but exercise in general can help the lymphatic system flow more effectively. So if you're already working out then does bouncing really add any value?
Yes you are correct. The more you do the more value you will get I'm thinking. Bouncing for 10 min offers less value than bouncing for 30 min.. so you make that call.
Interesting video. Didn't know who Eddie Hall was, but the guy has some really cool sh*t in his basement: And Wim Hof, per usual, has a crazy evangelical air about him throughout.
Coincidentally, I’m reading Hof’s book right now, and he claims that the conscious breathing per his method also does the job. And you’re already doing that. So just how much lymph crap do you have to expel?
Scott Carney is an investigative journalist, author, and anthropologist. He spent a week with Wim Hof and talks about it: I'm presently reading his book: So far, so good.
