Million a day is possible mostly in Forex markets. Other than that may be in heavily traded stocks like MSFT, INTC, CSCO etc. Even then you need to take six figure positions.

This thread brings another question: How easy or difficult is it to get rid of 1000 contracts on the bigger S&P500 contract or 5000 contracts on the e-minis.

  4. I know what you mean. I too lose sleep because I keep wondering
if IB could handle me buying 10,000 shares of every stock in the Nasdaq
all at once through TWS... Without TWS freaking out...:p

  7. The answer is: if you're so anxious to get rid of them, don't buy them in the first place.

  8. In answer to the thread topic, I say I won't read this shiiite a million times a day but I do anyway.

    Does that qualify?

    Hey SBN,

I got some good friends who already made that kind of money in a day, they were trading between 500 and 1000 contracts. But I got say its unlikely for a trader who makes that kind of money to share it publicly..
