Good answer. There is something definitely to be said for being in an office where people are consistently making money. Although in a lot of ways trading is an individual sport, but if a trader choses to be in an office with other traders (which is what I prefer) I think in a lot of ways a good office environment with other successful traders can greatly improve your results. For instance if you have a bad day and the guy next to you made 3K then it gets hard to fall into the trap of blaming your loss on the market conditions. It keeps you focused on what you did wrong. So I take it their interview process is more to control their trading environment rather then just adding any traders with 5K to their name to the group.
