I don't think it missed any data but i see a very annoying gap on my chart:
Hey, you're using 16807 volume candle chart, right? It that's the case, it's the volume spike in the data. Usually happens with IB data.
Did you try clearing the data, and then re-backfilling it?
Got it thanks, i'm experimenting with volume bars.
I got this problem with HSI 1min bar too. I believe it's a QuoteTracker bug.
I use NinjaTrader to store historical data. In additional to the problem you specified, I saw QuoteTracker messing up historical data once -- 'coz of an OS crash perhaps.
Are you using IB data feed also? If so, it's not QT's bug, it's IB's data feed. Try comparing it to one of the data vendors, such as IQ Feed, and you'll see the difference right away.
that's what happens when I lose my data feed from IB occasionally...
Good catch Schaefer.
Thanks for providing them with a solution to their problem. I didn't want to bother with explaining it to them for the 100th time since it's obviously a nOOb starting off with another "Oh, Quotetracker has a problem" thread, actually, if he had bothered calling QT, he would have received a ready solution to the problem.
