Anyone getting tired of all this Obama hype?

  1. It's awfully easy, now that Bush has kept us safe for seven years, to carp about the measures he took. Few were complaining at the time. We were lucky to have a president, flawed though he was, who had the stones to do what was needed at the time and worry about the fallout later. Let one terrorists attack take place and let's see how many people support appointing ACLU lawyers for foreign terrorists or are wringing their hands over harsh questioning.

  2. Bush has not kept us safe, that is fallacy of a partisan...

American is much farther from safe than when Bush took office...

You don't even realize it yet, but if Obama abuses the power Bush has, applying the same principles to "keep us safe" it could mean further erosion of our freedom.

I really wish you would wake up and throw off your partisanship, and apply consistent principles to government.

  4. You sound like such an idiot its laughable at this point.

After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which killed six and injured 1,000; President Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 and injured 200 U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa, which killed 224 and injured 5,000; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and injured 39 U.S. sailors; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

Maybe if Clinton had kept his promise, an estimated 5,000 people in New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C. who are now dead would be alive today.

9/11 attacks - Bush promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished. Bush kept promise.

  5. "9/11 attacks - Bush promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished. Bush kept promise."

Bush did not keep that promise...

We are farther from safe than when Bush enacted his policy...

Bush policy of attacking Iraq was a huge blunder that weakened us morally, weakened us financially, weakened us militarily, weakened our national guard, weakened us in the eyes of our allies, strengthened Iran, etc., etc., etc.

We are weaker now as a nation, we are less safe as a nation.

  7. What you mean to say is YOU feel weakened morally, YOU feel weakened financially, and YOU feel weakened in the eyes of whoever. The rest of us, we feel just fine. Now go crawl under your bed and hide.

  8. Hmmm, the rest of "us who feel just fine?"

Is that why Bush leaves with such a low approval rating?

    LOL!

Good luck with your memories of Bush keeping you safe in the eyes of others, morally, and financially...

  10. No. But I do believe Obambi would like to invite him over for a sit down.

And while he's over, Obambi will give him back all the prisoners we have.
