no as I don't trade overnight and most of their trades are swing and I never use back test, only forward walk. .
Our fundamental problem in discussing the Ripper, and indeed Trutrade itself, is that it is something we cannot see, cannot try and there is no existing data on performance. Which brings us to the logical question: why don't they trade it themselves? Why do they not have any data on it? Why can't we see it in real time before we buy it? And the answer is simple: we are dealing with a sales room not a trade room. Trade rooms make their money trading, while sales rooms make their money selling. This is a sales room.
And as for Michael Chin and his day scalping video I think something is wrong there. This last video was posted over two years ago, there hasn't been a new one since. Also he has no track record of performance and although he claims his trades are alive the summary of them cannot be found. His last posting on Facebook page is over three years old so I'm guessing he is somehow out of trading for good. He is just old news it seems.
He stopped updating his Youtube videos after being called out for stealing somebody else's content, whom I will not name here. He apparently shows his live trades. But I find it questionable because, if you look carefully, he doesn't show the entire screen of NinjaTrader. The top of the interface is cropped out (where you normally find account info, time, etc) and you only see the $running total$ at the bottom left of the screen. And almost all his trades (eg. timing) are, in fact, too good. So it's hard not to question whether he's not simply running the REPLAY. That's my thinking, but he can only answer that.
Hello macgregorson, Michael Chin made his million dollars selling the 2 leg price action scalping method to customers. And no longer needs to trade or teach.
I wouldn't go that far, but I definitely hate the background music for their videos. Sounds like a game music and that's what they seem to make it look like.
