Anyone buying short ETF's ?

Im watching TZA/SDOW close; dow+ iwm tend to be weaker

 

2 of my favorites for both swing and daytrading. SRTY identical to TZA chart at half the price, but better for swings than daytrading since smaller range.

TVIX UVXY great for daytrading

 

Borrow fees can make it not quite as straightforward, but aside from that valid point.

I had planned on cutting reasonable losses on sdow, twm early today; but profits today on TQQQ/related made me slow down. Besides, my worst loss is on twm =its going up on daily/5 days...……………………………………………………………………...
Twm monthly is mostly red, so I may cut even a small loss today.QQQ still looks real strong; but sdow most likely will make a real good move by sept 31.Not a prediction

 

I have bought short ETFs quite a few times. I believe buying short ETFs gives the trading flexibility and also makes risk management easier. I have also witnessed that there is lower cost engaged in it and I have also acquire tax benefits. So for me, buying shirt ETFs is good to go decision.

 

Ive found these are best for daytrading or at most a week long swings, using trailing stops. Also learned that buying premkt gaps up is almost always bad, unless gap continuations are strong, so I'm unlikely to buy much premkt today. Trading SDOW UVXY TZA etc

SDOW is up-trending good again;
entry @24/exit @$25.00 limit.[price improvement today/ LOL $25.0012] May get back in again/this week??. Its still going up/ nicely........>7%[edit > 8.7% now]
