Anybody making any real $$$???

  1. Here is my best shot today; if you can identify a trader’s style, it can be copied profitably, maybe not to the same level as the originator, but to a level high enough to average 6 figures.

    Is that more profound?

  2. I am not smart enough to have a style.

  4. we each grab our mouse in the same fashion, the rest is all in our heads. :)

    happily, we are in agreement then.

  5. It is a lot easier to teach someone to play with balls, than to teach them to trade ...

  6. ah, BUT it is NOT easier to create a michael jorden than it is to make a "metooxx" is it?

    what i am saying is trading is a head game, and the head is malleable, but the body is fixed.

  7. Actually, it is easy to do what we do. I had a new trader start on Monday, we are up about $5K on his trades; and he doesn't even understand what he is trading or what trading is.

    It is all in the systems.

  8. this what i have been trying to tell all here but they won't believe it!

    SUCCESSFUL TRADING CAN BE MODELLED!

    successful methods exist OUTSIDE & INDEPENDENT of the particular trader.

    as long as the trader does not corrupt and sabotage the system, anyone can do it!

    i would even go one step further, go out on a limb here and say that the trader is really a nonessential element if you can automate the system. (as you would "automate", ie train, the trader)

    oh yes!!

  10. Here is what we do:

    1) identify an instrument you can buy cheaper @ X and sell for more @ Y;

    2) hit it fast;

    3) hit it again and harder if it doesn't move;

    4) repeat steps 1 -3 as many times as you can, in as many set-ups as you can find.

    Anyone can do it.
