Anybody else short US 30 Bond

  1. That's pretty much what I'm doing, not taking any crazy overleveraged positions all at once. Something nice and manageable. :cool:

  3. Fed is applying a theory that no longer works in the internet age.

    Their actions actually aggravates the situation, I've written before about this.

  5. Only quick profit taking dips in this market. I don't see how we could get a sustainable retracement any time soon with the Fed's finger hovering over the buy button.

  6. 10 year Treasury at 2.72% with inflation at ZERO. That seems about right to me.

  7. For the same reason the PPT can only forestall certain drops in the stock market, but not out and out cataclysmic selloffs.

    If you've got the nerve and the cash reserves to withstand a short term move against you (since it's impossible to pick the exact top), this is the mother of all shorting opportunities IMO.

    Fallen to bad trading again and holding short, choice while I try and sleep tonight is take the hit now or hold on and see what Friday brings.

  9. This is joke how people mixed up forced liquidation with deflation.

    In fact, I am going with Warren Buffet's call and getting me some nice equities.
