I had that exact same trade on, and also took 3.5 ticks, slow creepers are brutal, I went home after that one. I would clelebrate for a month straight if we went back to full ticks
short 19.5's in the 10yr somebody is offering 1k @ 20 and I bet its good. So just leaning on that. Target is 14's on this trade
somebody just offered 200 and that 1k went to 800 so my guess is its him and he needs filled (can be tough to get done at decent levels with 1000 contracts). Holding short but still looking to take money at 14
went in late today to trade the break which never happened should have known when spooz rallied and we didn't break not to go short oh well always tomorrow!
I know this is a very vague and dependant question but... I've been looking to start trading interest rate and bond futures and I was wondering what a good starting point would be as far as account funding. I am a college student and obviously don't have a lot to put in but I'm not even going to think about trading without enough capital. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Have you ever traded futures before? I suggest you "paper trade" for 3-6 months until you break even consistantly! If you insist on trading live, I can not see even trading 1 lots with much less than $10K in an account. good trading! el surdo
I have not traded futures as of yet. I am looking to find a niche to concentrate on and learn everything about. I am interested in yield curve plays as well as some of the physical commodities. Thanks for the info, now it's time to start saving up and studying!
