  4. I'm out some good money on my 10yr and 30yr shorts, and am thinking about taking the loss. I don't really like the news about the fed stepping in with more regulation, and I think the yields could continue lower.

Any opinions on the new fed news in relation to the financials? Good time to stay out instead of short?

  5. THIS IS THE LAST TIME I am going to say this, having an opinion in this market is asking to get blown out. Trade what it gives you and do not hold trades overnight. Another bank could blow out or the Fed could do something at any time it is too dangerous.

  6. Listen idiot. I don't know what you're trying to tell me. I'm a highly skilled daytrader and keep all my money in the bank, which has been working out for now. I have 0% of my net worth in the stock market. Instead of investing long-term in the stock market, I saw better value in the notes. If spooz go low, yields go up, usually. I know it doesn't work all the time but the good thing about being long yields instead of the stock market is that yields can only go down so much. I chose to invest the same amount that I would have invested in stocks, and instead invest it in a short 10yr note play. I would have lost the same amount of money on both, if not more from the stock market.

I didn't like the news that came out over the weekend, and I didn't like the market reaction to the news that came out today. I'm starting to cover my loss because I'm very unsure about the future of both. I asked for other's opinions, not to get slammed by an idiot who thinks that you can only day-trade, and cannot hold long term plays.

Meanwhile, my day-trading game is good, i'm not a good position trader and I would like to get better. I rarely put on longer-term plays, but in this case, news came out and shifted my opinion, so I adapt and take my loss, and wait for better entry. I was up a boat load of money when the 10yr was at 118'10 and the 30yr at 118'00, and I didn't hear you talking there.

Don't be a position player hater, get a life man!:p

  9. LOL, please tell me in what way i'm being stubborn, or cocky. Surdo said "i think my shit don't stink". Did I not just tell you all that I was proven wrong by this news and I took a big fat loss today.

I play it as I see it. And as I see it, most of these markets are not stable enough to invest in without takin some major short term heat. I think my mistake was the size. I believe that you can long-term play these markets unlike my friends in this thread, you just have to reduce the size and increase the profit potentials of your trades.
