  3. Thanks buddy! Congrats on making a few bucks in ZB....thats what its all about right?

I'm happy to say I did get the full point but I needed it after all the hell I went through trying to short the damn thing in previous sessions!

I also have a few short apr 114/118 10yr strangles on @ 111 and the highest the 10yr could go before the trade turned into a loss was 119.23 so I was getting a little worried about this rally!

Imo stock market has bottomed. My biology teacher/average joe investor came up to me today (kind of a tool) and said that he thinks the market has lots more downside to go. He bought lots of stock at the very top and he will be selling stock right at the bottom lol! The "average joe investor" indicator is a great way of determining what the markets are going to do.

  4. YT-
it has bottomed for now, we'll see if ES M8 can take hold of any prices above 1380. But while it's on its journey up there sell the curve!

Can you tell me what is the common ratio of steepeners and other treasury spreads? I would like to sell a few 2s/10s (TUT right?) pretty quick but don't know the exact ratio on which to do it.

  6. Shorted this slut today when the 75BP came out. I was short YM, had 50+ points in it, scratched. Then went long, and got smoked on the way down, and payed the low around 12110. At about that time I shorted the crap outta the bondo, prices around 120'00 and 119'31. Covered half my trade at 119'16, then a quarter of the trade at an average of about 119'07.5. I figured I would stay short the last quarter of the full amount I shorted at 120'00 because I see this thing going straight down to 118'00 by the end of the week. Any suggestions on covering, or should I look to get out in the lower 118s?

  7. I do not know those ratios they are available on the CBOT website when I do spread I spread Cash against Futures which is easy to figure out usually 1 by 10 or 1 by 12 for a duration spread but the curve is so whack I am trading everything outright right now.

Uncle Ho- it could be trading 118 even by the morning. Should test the lower 118 area tomorrow! That is if spooz keep jammin' up.

  8. short 10yr at 118.235

Big offers across the curve and I think its real paper. Guys are starting to figure out treasuries are done rallying.

    Profit target around 118 even.
