Anybody else short US 30 Bond

  1. Being short the 30 year is a nobel idea. However, why jump in front of a train? 33.billion in USD has fled Stocks and some of it fled to US Treasures. The avearge Retail Investor is pulling out of the US STOCK MARKET and putting it in the 30 year.

Shorting the 30 Year is on my radar. But one thing about "Shorting" in all my years of Trading for a living...now only trading to help build my net worth.....waiting for the First serious reversal is the smartest. Why be the first in? The majority of the move happens after a key reversal.

Trying to time the markets will kill you. Jumping in front of a bunch of Sheep who have no idea that they are running straight to the slaughter house....but believe that its the right path to run...will also bankrupt you. IMHO.

  2. I am a clicker till I die! But the ES is almost untradable unless you catch the first move, long end of the curve moves, the short end sucks. You just got to be right cause if you are wrong on the long end your month is gone very quickly! Happy to cover costs and make a little $ some days! Seems when I have no size on I have a huge winner and the days I try to be a barracuda from my usual small mouth bass size some B Gross Whale program takes me down!
