Anybody else short US 30 Bond

  3. Being short long term is quite dangerous. They can just say btw we will spend 1 more trillion buying and you are toast. They don't even have to buy for real. Look what happen on 3/18

    Unless you have balls of steal or the backing of major mula you can't survive being short. IMO, which is worth just about 2 cents.

  4. These are the ones I am meeting with. I have met with them before but it seems that they are coming around to the idea...

    dont spam them, but tell them how you used to trade the 30Y and why you think the full tick is better.

  6. Sorry to sound all noob, but can you outline the pros and cons of this for those of us who weren't trading the zb the last time it traded in full ticks? What does this mean exactly? How do you perceive this to be better?

  7. If it goes to full tick it will bring back the bid/ask market maker types and will also bring back some short term nob traders (or many current ones will increase size). This will increase market depth and liquidity. If you trade stops you will have much less of those ridiculous stop pops. It will also make it much less vulnerable to manipulation (bullies or whatever you may call them). Overall a more honest market and safer market imo.
