The worst thing in c++ was watching the Boost guy lose his heart and go over to Swift. I hope he's making a lot of money tho.
Usually have one or several ex-colleagues there, might go some year just to be social. Since C++17 I stopped keeping up with its language changes; by now basically everything that made C++ annoying to use for me in the past has been solved. Writing modern C++ in MSVC w/ VisualAssist is a joy, even if there always will be certain things that can be done slightly better than before.
