We have an options group meeting every month that meets for lunch followed by a 3 hour meeting with an agenda covering topics of interest and members trades. The group has been meeting regularly for some 18+ years, not far from Sudbury Town, underground station near Wembley and with free parking at our venue. There are about 20 members and a dozen or so are regulars with some private email group chatter in between meetings If any members of this forum are interested in coming along either for this months meeting of for following meetings please let me know on mike.newman[at]freeuk.com.
IG at the moment. Please don't hate...I know the spreads aren't the best etc. But they offer guaranteed stops up to 400 pounds per point on the S&P, which can be retrospectively added after the trade is opened, which I think is worth any of the drawbacks that they might have. Obviously a different scenario if trading beyond £400 per point, or 8 Emini contracts.
They take the losses from News/Trump Tweet spikes ?? That's worth a lot, possibly too much, ie could be the death of IG!!
UK here using IG Markets (Manual) and Dukascopy Bank (Automated). I more or less make the above point in my 5th bullet here: https://www.elitetrader.com/et/thre...ion-about-tickmill.335681/page-2#post-4950141 As for the death of IG, I won't be holding any breath any time soon: IG Group Operating Numbers for 2018 Revenue: £590.2 million Income: £281.1 million Net income: £226.4 million No. Employees: 1,788
Your picture suggests that you are a nurse who practices euthanasia or worse. Your comment waas why do you bother to live in the UK[/QUOTE] Do either of the two remarks have merit? Answer is no. Disregard both.
Some of us like the rain......... Seriously, one common negative thing you hear from British ex-pats who've moved to Mediterranean climates or California or Australia is that they miss the four distinct seasons.
