I'm in the DC area and have wanted to find someone that wants to learn how to trade as much as i do too or someone who genuinely wants to help a new trader. I think it'd be cool to have someone to help me keep myself accountable and bounce trading ideas off of or ask questions too. But it seems this industry attracts a lot of bad money hungry people and scammers from every walk of life, from online gurus that aren't really profitable, to someone trying to message you about how they can make you rich if you give them your cc # lol
sure i can but what is the purpose? is your time so worthless that you just do things without a purpose? it still hasnt occured to you for even one second that maybe iam actually serious and what i am saying is legit?
i love it. meet in person? no talk on voice no? trade real time ? definitely no! Oh maybe u do a journal with text!?!? yeah!!! now ur talking nonpln thats so awesome type out an online journal instead of actually accomplishing something!! ffs lol
lay off the crack pipe. you said you would do a journal. Now you say you aren’t. That’s not taking trading seriously.
lol man really? this forum has no direct relation or correlation as far as taking my individual trading serious or not. wow that is some incredibly bad logic. iam sure you didn't, but did you ever think of the other possibility? that based on the replies I received AND based on reviewing other threads/journals that I just don't take this place serious enough for it to be worth my time?
Mate, its 2024.You dont have to go to the town square to mingle anymore. You could find the son of a member of a wealthy and powerful member of a Saudi Arabian swing trading conglomerate (The Sultans of Swing) online. If you prove your concept, you will have your seed funding. Again, its 2024,forget about face to face. I get that you may be a face to face guy,in this scenario that is a shortcoming you need to address.
I think it's extremely important to be brutally honest with yourself in this game. If everything clicked 6 weeks ago - why are you still trading 1-2 micros? If you're a prior poster (writing style is similar), you were trading micros 1-2 years ago and also said you were trading at a very high level back then. You may perceive this inquiry and other comments in this thread as negative (and maybe some are), but there are a few things here that don't quite add up and raises questions. Day trading index futures profitably is probably one of the hardest ways to make money in this world and I'm sure only the few can do it. And for some they may feel very close and they perceive that it's only some small errors or 'psychology' (common excuse), but those small errors tend to make all the difference. Most people are better of just investing their money and do something more productive with their life. If you want a collaboration of any kind, honestly, the best thing you can do is to provide a track record which shows actual results. Those would leave no doubt. PS: My results improved when I started to focus on the big picture. Index futures and markets in general are noisy on smaller timeframes. ES hits 5350 or more today. Long all morning through all these oscillations.
