  2. Why do you live in Amsterdam, and not Italy?

That's a question difficult to answer. In short I could say that I prefer people who care more for the society. It would take much longer to go more into detail.
Now, I see you have a very efficient news service for Naples. To be fair I have to say that Naples is quite a special place (in a good and in a bad way), but if you lived there, or somewhere else in Italy, you know what I'm talking about

  5. I have been in Italy several times - but only as a tourist. And I think it's a wonderful country. And to me it seems that the people in Italy enjoy life more than in the other countries I know.

that's kind of true. Italy is, for some things, unbeatable. But that doesn't mean it's perfect: every place has something good and something not so good. I think that you should spend a couple of years in a place to get a good idea. And at the end the main question is not what is good, but what is good for you.
Besides, I'm sure there are places in the world were people enjoy life even more.

  7. one thing is for sure, we italians look after ourselves like no one else: after almost a decade here in london i went back to italy last yr and seein' all these people always dressed to perfection and lookin' great [like we all should do] made great britain look like a dump. what a nice mouthful of fresh air. :) italy is great, we got taste and finesse no other country has... nobody can argue with that.
