Ta. does my explanation of the idea make sense? i.e. if I look at (e.g.) a 6min bar, the extreme may have taken place in the 4th min of that bar and that is the bar that I want to RESTART my chart from. I do not want the data of the first 3 mins. to be included in the bar.
nichoi........you're a star! maybe that is one way to solve the problem. I am not so sure about the meaning of "time templates option" but I get the gist of your drift and will investigate. do you mean that I could change the start time in eg. "settings" and have the chart start at 2.04 ET (for example, if i thought that was a low) and the data for the day before 2.04 ET would not be shown on the chart and not be used in the calculation of the various bars (whatever their timeframe which could be chosen by me.) MMm may work.......WoW what a board if it does
