BigGun, I'm not saying that Forexbastards.com is a scam or Felixbastard.com is a fluke; but there is a lot of info out there that makes you wonder if a lot of these reviews are fake or not.

With my time investigating and conducting due diligence on various Retail Forex operations from Brokers/FCM's/ECN's through to Managed Accounts and other services, I believe I have seen clear evidence to suggest that a lot of Forex based firms (and individuals) which have services to offer have been engaging in what I personally consider, blatant self promotion through dubiously hiding their links to the organization or service they are involved with (some may call it "spamming by stealth"), Infact just a quick 2 minute superficial perusing of the Forex Bastards site, I believe I can see at least 2-3 suspect cases of where the representatives of a such services have gone and done this. (sticks out like a sore thumb in some cases, as some of those organizations I recognize and who I have previously weeded out in the past for engaging in such behaviour) Anyway... In my opinion, I personally don't give a lot of weight to sites like ForexBastards when in the process of researching a firm mainly because there is no way to verify the true identity of an author of such reviews and whether or not he/she has a vested interest in a firm and is either A. posting to discredit a competitor or B. Trying to paint their own services in a positive light. In essence, such sites I personally believe is set up in such a way that allows anyone to IMO far too easily and anonymously to come on and post their own bias comments and reviews Just my Opinion.
I have actually been fairly impressed with the reviews provided on the forexbastards site. Do you really think he fabricates the reviews?
forexcranium, To clarify my own personal view... No, I do not believe Felix himself has fabricated any of the reviews (at least that is my belief currently, although It could change), however SOME of the reviews that have been submitted by the users/visitors of Felix's site I believe appear to be a little suspect in places. Felix I understand does do some vetting of all reviews that do get submitted to him, but IMHO, this I believe isn't full proof at stopping who I believe are unscrupulous individuals using some random, made up alias to write a bad review against a competitor -OR- submit fabricated praise about their own company / service (whilst IMHO deliberately failing to disclose their links / Interest) using the same method . Just my opinion
Well, as long as anyone offers a full refund for their services, they certainly come off as honest in my book. I've read in other forums, that traders that have tried the forexdiamonds service, have received their refund when asked.
