  3. Most of my family resides outside of the US. I do not agree with how the EU system works with highly controled labor practices the social welfare systems do not propagate performance. Japan works reguardless of any obsticles. Their culture and peoples have withstood the forces of the Han armies of ancient china. Taiwan is a nation that produces more students at the top level of academic testing standards globaly. The path and way of the cultures is a virtious circle. Internal growth has greater value than a growth by expansion method. Check out the numbers.

Japanese xenophobia is not like the rest of the world. In Russia, looking too foreign will eventually earn you a very harsh beating while the other metro passengers observe and try not to interfere; in Africa you will get robbed (because all whites are rich) and if you are female, probably raped; as an arab in the US, you are likely to get disrespected by the majority.
In Japan, you will be excluded from the society as you will always remain "the foreigner". Then again, you are almost guaranteed to not have physical confrontation of any kind or any hostile xenophobic comments. You probably will have different requirements when renting an apartment but with good reason, actually - most Americans tend to ignore the "take your shoes off inside" rule. Few foreigners stay in Japan permanently, so it's understandable they are not taken completely seriously as a part of society.

Bull shit. Americans go out of their way to prove that they are not prejudiced. They'll pat down a nun at a security check point and wave an Arab through to prove how non-prejudicial they are.

Look at the current US president, whose middle name is Hussein. Do you think the Americans would have elected someone like that if they disrespected Arabs?

I've resided in Japan for more than a decade and I have NEVER seen anyone ignore the "take your shoes off inside" rule, American or otherwise. You have no clue about what you are talking about.

I've spoken with a number of Japanese and I've heard it mentioned a couple of times. It's done privately, when no one is around so of course you haven't seen it.
All this "prove that they are not prejudiced" is pure crap. This is all for appearances, just like the "keep smiling" stuff - nothing real about it. They are so non-prejudiced that they wage war in 3 Arab countries, all 3 of which have never posed a military threat to them.

Yeah, that`s because we all look like bums!If you`ll ever find yourself in our metro, to protect yourself, you can use those passengers as human shields.:D :D :D Cause, they actually don`t give a fuck about their lives.

Always wondered why americans looked tooo foreign, btw...

Hasan Called Himself 'Soldier of Allah' on Business Cards

    Published November 12, 2009 | FOXNews.com

Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan called himself a "soldier of Allah" on business cards found in his apartment after the shooting rampage at Fort Hood in which he is accused of murdering 13 people.

Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, reportedly obtained the business cards over the Internet. In addition to listing his profession and contact information, the cards contain a discrete reference to his religion: "SoA(SWT)."

Watchdogs say the first letters are shorthand among militant Muslims to "soldier of Allah." The last letters refer to "Subhanahu Wa Ta'all," which means "glory to God."

The business cards were among numerous discoveries in Hasan's apartment of interest to investigators, who also are looking into whether Hasan wired money to Pakistan before last week's massacre.

Reporters including Fox News camera crews were shown inside Hasan's sparse one-bedroom apartment. Hasan, 39, who was wounded in the Nov. 5 massacre and has been talking to investigators since he regained consciousness in the hospital, was charged Thursday with 13 counts of premeditated murder.
