Don, that guy is full of misrepresenting himself. Hes not trading. Hes on the boards at 9.40 am.
Traders like him give assent a bad name. Admin you should ban that guy and his bull crap stories. Just trying to pitch and looks like without paying a sponsor fee. When traders can't trade anymore they look to override others.

  3. "Can't we all just get along?" LOL....no problem, I'm aware that there may another firm out there somewhere, not sure, but probably...kind of like finding life somewhere else in the Universe, don't know for sure, but quite likely. LOL.

no prblem Don..i'm just sick and tired of reading all the negative post's this squeeze22 is responsible for..he should be banned as he contributes nothing.
my belief regarding 25k rukles is that i know many successful traders who have less than 5k in their accounts. also, for new traders,5k is plenty as long as the firm keeps their size limits small and helps them out..if they don't,they will lose 25k just as quick as 5k. why should a kid with 25k in graduation money who never traded,be granted daytrade status when a guy with some trading experience who only has 5k not be able too. seems unfair.

  5. You are saying that these people you know are able to live off of a mere 5k. So they would need to consistently return 1500% per year, every year. lol, sure. Why don't you ask them to join the boards and spread their wisdom

keep in mind.if a trader with5k is good,a firm will give over 100k to trade with...thats what i mean.

  7. Yes, but what can you really do with $100k? Scalp? (Scalping has been dead for years, as a sole money maker anyway, with very few exceptions, like the automated programs for entries). With a $million or two, you can do opening only's to generate $100K, you can have multiple, tradeable, correlated pairs, you can make markets, become a surrogate Specialist, etc. As I've said many times, participate in "lower risk, higher reward" strategies that may be more capital intensive.

With $100k, you can buy or short 500 shares of 4 or 5 stocks, pretty limiting in my mind.

The firms who allow this small amount of $$, tend to be the non-registered "daytrading" firms who don't allow overnights, not a good place to be, IMO.

But, hey, as I always say "if you're making good money, then keep doing it."

Anyway, I think $15K gives a trader a good chance to grow the account with some of the above strategies.

Don (sitting here waiting for the market to do something, anything, LOL)

I forgot more than you know. All you do is complain about good traders with 5k up. Discrimination , where are you from the GHETTO? First off, if 5k is all you have then there is a problem. Second, post a stock that has not made it's move. Third do you believe your own bull crap?
