Any problems with IB today?

    Just curious if it is just on my end ...

    it's been unstable with several interruptions having to log back in

    (I use ensign for charting)

    One of my accounts keeps disconnecting since Thursday...
    For a total of about one hour of downtime every day.

    A second account stays connected normally.

    The problem does not seem to be at my end...
    Since the problem can be replicated...
    On different machines, different TWS builds, and over a dial-up connection with no router/firewall.

    All other internet software works fine at all times.

    So far... IB technical support has pretty much stonewalled me.
    They eventually asked for the log file... and never got back to me.
    I am quite concerned.

    Charting isnt working today need to constantly refresh to see candles.

    IB tech support confirmed they are having problems with it after general help told me it was my java software.
  5. I had the same problem a couple of days ago. I think it might have to do with the new version of TWS... but I'm not sure. I was using the java webstart version of TWS when I was having the charting & connection issues... When I tried the standalone version (one version behind webstart) my problems disappeared...

    just my 2 cents
