Yes, Costco 300s, I was wondering about taking them twice a day instead of once but keep forgetting to look up if it is safe to go much more per day. I gather it is if you are at 800.
You can, but you should taken them once/daily as insomnia will be an issue if taken later in the day (mitochondria-tempo).
Sounds good, I take the one in the morning with a Costco Glucosamine Chondroitin. I'll add a second to the pill farm. I told myself I wouldn't be a supplement pill popper when I got old, and I am a supplement pill popper.
1 month with no statin, Cholesterol 135 +7 from last, Triglycerides 49 -15 from last, HDL 47 +1 from last, LDL 78 +9 from last, ratio 2.9 +.1 from last. I see the doc on Wednesday, and it will be interesting to hear her thoughts.
Your numbers are almost too low. Depending on your age, higher numbers correlate with longevity over 70.
If I were you I wouldn't worry until your numbers go 230+ or if the Trig numbers change suddenly a lot. Your Trigs actually went down after stopping statins. I am similar age and my number is 215-230, but the ratio is good, the Trig is fairly low and I am active. Cholesterol numbers also fluctuate wildly during the day. Since I donate blood, mine is measured in every 8 weeks or so. Once for fun I ate bacon before donation and the number was 260. (they do say to have a hearty breakfast, although low on fats) As you get older, you should have higher numbers without worry. Unless you have previous CVD. As mentioned earlier cholesterol numbers aren't even a good marker for CVD or prevention. A coronary calcium scan (or neck CT) is what you want if you want to check on your arteries' calcification.
