Any of you guys lost your health coverage?

  1. A couple of months ago we were told that we would be able to keep our policy. Three weeks later we were told we would not. (Seems like nobody really understands Obamacare.)

Our replacement policy has less of the coverage that we actually need and more of the coverage for which we have absolutely no need. Our premiums will be 6% higher and our out-of-pocket costs will be 300% higher.

To make matters worse, our youngest daughter's pediatrician and my wife's OB/GYN won't accept the new health insurance, so now we have to find new doctors.

  2. I am so happy that Obamacare is finally here. I live in New Jersey. It is now easier to obtain Medicaid in New Jersey. For a family of 3, you can earn up to $25,975 and still qualify for Medicaid for the entire family. Here is a link...

Health insurance will now cover pre-existing conditions, which is great. I plan to earn around $30,000 this year, so my family of 3 will get a $714 per month subsidy to pay for health insurance here in New Jersey. If I lived in New York City, I would get a $998 per month subsidy. The cheapest plan that I found in New Jersey is $721 per month for all 3 of us, so it will only cost me $7 per month out of my pocket. This is so great. Before Obamacare, I would have to pay the full $721 per month myself, but now it will only cost me $7 per month. My family has been without health insurance for 5 years now, since my wife quit her job 5 years ago to be a stay at home mother and I am self-employed. By not having health insurance for the past 5 years, I saved $43,000 in health insurance premiums. We just paid cash for my 6 year old daughter's annual checkups and my wife's annual Ob-Gyn visits. Thank goodness we are all healthy and did not need to go to the hospital for surgery or to the emergency room for the past 5 years.

I don't know why people are complaining about Obamacare, when it covers pre-existing conditions and most people can get a subsidy or Medicaid. The less you earn, the more subsidy you can get. It's beautiful!!!

You can check www.ehealthinsurance.com to see if you qualify for a subsidy.

You're a great argument for why America MUST have a second revolution. People left tyranny to come here and form a truly free country KNOWING they may be killed for their desire for freedom. IF a few didn't bring a coat in the winter here you'd rather penalize those who DID by making THEM freeze to death so they could give up what they've worked for so those who are lazy, and/or stupid can live another day to leach off the strong vs teaching them the right way... Ok. Best thing I'll say is enjoy life when the shtf... Trash like you should check out North Korea as a place to live as I PROMISE YOU YOU'LL NEVER GET YOUR SICK COMMUNIST WAY HERE AS LONG AS I'M ALIVE!!!! I'm FULLY prepared to dispatch trash like you, as well as much bigger things at the moment to keep America THE real free America...

  7. What are you his puppet now? I meet people all the time, it doesn't take balls all it takes is knocking on the door. I usually start out with a smile and a handshake, I'm very personable, but unlike you I like people. Meeting and getting to know new people is one the the enjoyable things about my job. So once again you are wrong, is it frustrating for you?

  8. Yeah, that's the Communist way. Take health care/money from one person and give it to another... in exchange for their vote, of course.
