I've seen you post other trades from this skype source before on other threads. He obviously has an actual edge.

  6. A few days in a row where the market (mainly Dax) seemed to be gunning for my stops on every trade. Need a good week next week otherwise I can see myself going into negative territory :(

I've attached both my ES and Dax statements for trading so far.

  7. ...You always seem to post negative days/returns...how the heck are you still here/alive?

  8. lol, someone else earlier in the thread said the exact opposite (i.e I only ever seem to show winning days)
Not sure what to say. I'm still alive as i've made more than i've lost so far I guess.

Still, see posts 200, 277, 214 for some examples of good days.

    cheers

Just glanced at your trading statements. Good to see you made a net profit.

From my POV, i think you are trading too much and those commissions are really stacking up.

Your profit factor is very weak. For day trading i think 1.5 should be aimed for.

For your type of trading i.e. day trading, aim for higher win rates and go for 1:1 risk/reward.

You need to work on risk control...i note your biggest loss on the dax was about 2x your average loss and something even worse on the ES.

There are maybe a few trades in which you have near 100% conviction that they are gonna win. You need to increase your position size substantially on those. It's the only way to win in the long run imho.

Just my thoughts, hope they didn't offend. Would be good if other experienced traders gave feedback.

  10. Any updates, Ed? I'm in Europe and have been *trying* to trade the Dax myself using technical analysis and was following with interest.
