Lol. Inverse H&S --- the biggest BS I've ever heard of (and I don't mean to offend any ETers here). There is no "inverse H&S". That's a long winded name for an O'Neil cup&handle.

On that chart above. The first setup (long) is a Darvas-type box-breakout setup (coincidentally it's also an O'Neil cup&handle). The "inverse H&S" to the right... Why make it so complicated? Just ignore the left shoulder and you have a cupy&handley with a not-very-deep handle!

So as you can see there are only 3 universal types of setups in the market:

    1. O'Neil Cup&Handle.
    2. Nicolas Darvas-type box-breakout setup with an initial bullish, almost parabolic rally preceding it on high volume. (Between the long and short entries on the above chart, there is a second Darvas-type setup there!)
    3. This is my secret obtained from 2 years worth of market observations.

Btw, Steve Jobs would have made an excellent trader! He has the ability to simplify "patterns" and ideas down to their most basic, minimalist structure!

And like I've written above. There are no inverse H&Ses, only cup&handles...

Shame, for a smart bloke he was also very screwed in the head and believed in Reiki and Homepathy and other alternative total crap, he wasted enough time on that trying to fix himself, by the time he went to a real doctor it was just too late.

    Dumb ass!!

Don't despair guys. It's just a matter of getting a bit of useful help. Do you really think the average Joe can sort it out all by himself ? Probably not. So :-
    1. Find an expert advisor or indicators that are profitable, and yes there are some.
    or
    2. Find a mentor that is profitable and willing to teach.
    OR
3.Keeping plugging away and hoping to stumble upon something that works.

It's up to you. Good luck.

  8. Last 3 days are the kind that make me think I know what i'm doing, but maybe it's more a matter of the current environment fitting my method/understanding of TA

  9. Give yourself a little more credit than that!

The market is doing what it does; you're doing your job by managing risk and extracting $.

I don't know your method, but your results show some consistency. Very nicely done @Eddiemorra. Looking forward to seeing the progression.

  10. so these were the encouraging results I posted the other day. Felt like I had an 'edge' :)

Hit a rough patch since then. Yesterday I was down 114 points on the day at one point! Currently attempting to follow the plan and see if I can recover back to where I was before. I'm getting close...
