I have recently opened an account with IB. I have not been able to open my TWS this weekend. Any one else have problems, or suggestions. TIA
TWS is shutdown every Saturday, usually open for login on Sunday after 12p EST. Check the website, it provides their operating hours and exact times.
I have found the hours on the site, and it also mentioned to use the DEMO mode to try things out....which is what I wanted to do. Thanks again
The demo is not always up on the weekends, mainly because if it breaks for some reason, the techs aren't there to fix it until Sunday afternoon when Globex opens.
I use the downloaded version for my demo. When it comes up with username & password, just enter the following. Username EDEMO Password DEMOUSER Bert
