Looking to move to Italy... Do the Italian Telecom companies offer cheap high-speed internet access?

I'm at least 1/4 Italian, maybe half, depending on whether my grandfather (whom I am named after), who was found on a doorstep near the German border, was actually Italian. He certainly looked it.
