    They all wiggle ..

the best solution is to go to a very short time frame (1 min)

and/or to only use the signal after the bar has closed.

Trading off indicators will always be tough , you see a signal and then a few minutes later it reversed on you and that signal is gone.. making you look like a fool.

My favorite wiggle-free indicator is a 2000-period SMA.

I think you can also make the indicators only update at the end of a bar in esignal. Somewhere in the options or maybe the efs settings. I would check for you, but I am at work.

This works especially well if you apply a 5000 period smoothing SMA to the 2000 period SMA.

If you use that to trade Dead Cattle Contracts....It's very stable,,,, Nothing Moves.

Are you refering to the check box labelled "make all formulas compute on close (instead of tick by tick)", which is located in the EFS Settings window?

  10. isn't there a 'smoothing' option on your software?

mine does. just bump it up to a high enough number until the wiggles disappear.

i don't know what this does, but it makes the lines nicer to look at. (and less wiggly)
