I tried using the twsdde.xls and their market scanner function ignores all the user-parameters (minimum price, minimum avg volume, etc.) I contacted IB and they said that they've been having problems with Excel ignoring the user entered parameters. So, I'm assuming that other non-Excel based software based on the IB API can successfully use the market scanner. Anyone know of any? Also, can the software use the basket order capabilities of the IB API? Thanks for any leads!
