Any good free screen capture programs?

  1. Looking for a screen capture program if there are any that you guys know of?

Even if it's not free, just something that is pretty good.

I used to use 'SnagIt' at work. I thought that was pretty quick and dirty, easy to use.

    Thanks,
    Forrest

  2. Print Screen button and Paint program.

  3. If you're referring to snapshots as opposed to video capturing, snagit is the easiest to use. Easier than print screen and paint.

  4. That's what I'm doing now in my journal, it sucks and is kinda cumbersome.

  5. gnome

    gnome

    ScreenPrint32... works on multiple monitors.

  6. I don't know if screen print 32 is compatible with Vista.

I am trying out the 'Windows Snipper Tool' in Vista.

  7. SnagIt is a whole $50

    lol

  8. I love snagit, but I wouldn't pay $50 for it.

pm me with your email if you want it

  9. Stupid Snipping tool doesn't even allow you to write text on the screen capture. Only thing it does well is allow you to do a rolling screen capture.

  10. No software comes close to Camtasia Studio. Trial avilable.
