One of the frequent paltalk member told me he is not that good. I have not checked it out if I have better fish to fry:) In any way I will refuse to fork over thousands hard earn dollar.

JPJTrading wants $200/month chat room subscription incuding education for the MP. It is reasonable. He does have his member for a long time. It is a good thing!

Yea its a good thing he's had his member for a long time! :D
    Sorry couldn't resist.
I agree about the money, and he does take a lot of trades to get up when he starts down(*simpletrader that is). So profit at end of day is reduced by commissions.

There is no more trial in his room next week.

He uses market profiles to trade. Since he talks instead of typing trades & levels ahead. It is not clear to me.

He said that you can learn in a couple of month but how come those people still in the room?

Didn't sign up for jpj, so was going to check out elricardo trading room that was mentioned, but doesn't seem to be there anymore. Is he off the air? Still has a website, but didn't see a room last 2 days. Oh well on to somewhere else for noise.

  6. I sent a PM to Macroevent's on IOAMT. This room doesn't fit the criteria that most are looking for on this thread (making clear calls) or I would have posted early on. It is a teaching room for Market Profile method only. The room is run by Bill Duryea with some help from Bob Hoffman (AKA Bundlemaker on ET).

I think the rates are now $100 mo for the room and the seminar is probably 750-1K but you only pay for it once and take it as often as it's taught if you want. I haven't visited the room in 3-4 months so not sure about $$ or if anything changed regarding their format in that time.

I'm still a member but haven't listened in a few months. I find Duryea very distracting and hard to follow. But you still glean a lot of golden nuggets if you filter enough dirt.

Hoffman is an excellent communicator and teacher but not as proficient in MP and is rarely the moderator. Duryea is just the opposite, extremely proficient in MP but is difficult for me to follow. 90% of the time you listen to Duryea. :>(

I would recommend reading Mind Over Markets by Dalton and see if this will fit your system and temperment before joining. I would say overall it was money well invested for me. They are difinitely fair in their treatment of people and teaching but it's not for everyone. If your looking for calls and hand--holding, it probably isn't for you.

    Thanks for your post.

I have not found a room is clear to follow & making tons of money. This is the only two things we need to judge how good the room is. The moderators makes tons of money hook you on to educate you does not count:)

It is suspicious when JPJ said it only took a couple of months in his room to learn his way then you do not need him anymore. Then he said he started with around 50 with 35 left. If he is what he said all students should not be there at all after so many months. I do not found him to be that clear.

The Beginners room in Paltalk uses MP like JPJ but he is clear & he is free now.

Trending123Futs room is free for 3 days this week.

Please keeps on having the review coming so help others!

You don't need these rooms they are very distracting!

Read this book thoroughly 3x and if you still can not find a profitable edge pm me.

Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets by John Murphy.

  9. Samson is correct about these rooms. They are distracting because you need to either be concentrating on learning or trading but not both at the same time. JPJ's room can't even keep his helpers in the room. Rich, one of his helpers constantly wonders around to other rooms looking for his edge like a lost puppy. Trending 123 is funny, they have a problem defining trends. Chat rooms are good to sit in to fight off the lonely bug while one trades . . . nothing else.

I will graciously disagree with the book though.
