Any experience with Powerline Wifi adaptors?

  1. if you want to cross rooms, you'll have to make a couple of holes. You can get a pretty cheap plastic canal to hide everything. They come in several colors.

    I did wireline about a decade ago. Poor throughput performance and reliability.

    Just upgraded to 6e-7 wifi on 6 ghz. Normally I hard wire cat 6e or 7 to my machine, but with this new wifi, it is running about the same as Cat 6e.

    tp link is a low cost hardware with open source firmware, just because the average folks don’t care to go update the firmware, the government is banning them because the company doesn’t provide support? if we get something else, the call center will be somewhere in india for sure, ask my costco samsung big screen tv experience.

    From what little I know, the US government is banning TP-LINK because it's a Chinese firm (which I bet not many people know, myself included until recently), which they view as a proxy for CCP and a national security threat. Dàmn, that a mouthful. :sneaky:
