Does anybody here use a trading software that would actually show you real-time market in action? Or have tried any softwares out there? Can someone advise on that?
Also try thinkorswim.com, if you're just starting out, it's free. You'll have to chat them up a bit to get turned on with real time data though, but if you fund the account, it's all real time and free. Not the best platform or broker, but the charts and software are great.
The closest to real-time you can get is with a sat disk and software like esignal or tradestation. Internet is not real-time except if you have a high speed line, I think there are called T1 or T3. Not sure. Better, rent a seat at the exchange. That is real-time.
