  1. Wasn't the show waning towards the end of its run?

It is a serious mistake not be obsessed with Trump. The man is an existential threat to our democracy.

Trump-appointed judge Aileen Cannon assigned to classified documents case: report

Judge Aileen Cannon will be assigned to oversee at least the initial stages of Donald Trump's classified documents case in Miami, ABC News reported Friday.

"Cannon's apparent assignment would add yet another unprecedented wrinkle to a case involving the first federal charges against a former president: Trump appointed Cannon to the federal bench in 2019, meaning that, if Trump is ultimately convicted, she would be responsible for determining the sentence.

The judge previously helped Trump impose a special master to sift through the documents from Mar-a-Lago. She was not only overruled by a higher court, but they went so far as to accuse her of flouting the law. The three-judge panel accused her of imposing things that have no relevance to the case.

IIRC the numbers were solid.A lot of people think he only ran for president as a bluff to get a raise from NBC and everyone was surprised including himself that so many fucking idiots took him seriously as a presidential candidate.

When confronted with simple, consistent facts, these people who are ready to die for Trump (I mean that quite literally) will overlook the obvious, which will be laid out plainly in front of them, and jump immediately to some complex grand government, i.e., "Deep State", conspiracy being responsible for Trumps problems with U.S. Law. Go figure.

  8. Maybe I'm just remembering my disdain for the show. The first season or two were worth watching. It went downhill from there. Trump was just looking for chaos, not aptitude or ability. He fired contestants which he probably deemed were boring rather than incapable. And there went the premise of the show. And the celebrity apprentice bullshit? The one who knew the most or richest people to donate to some cause won. Wow. Worth watching.

Thanks for posting this. I think you are a lawyer, correct? Would you happen to have the citation to that law handy?

She should surely recuse herself. Some Trump judges have ruled against his interest though.I don't think many of them are loyal to him though as he just picked the judges McConnell/the party told him to pick. While publicly most republicans support him to not piss off his supporters in private I think most want him gone so some of the judges he picked could be against him.
