Only the hopeful to the point of delusional Biden supporters think Trump's lawyers are doing poorly. They got the most dangerous and damaging trials postponed until after the election, than Trump will pardon himself of course.

The gameplan for the NY trial is to have a strong case for appeal, which they are accomplishing.

Even if found guilty with Trump having no prior criminal record most experts say jail is highly unlikely. With such a strong case for appeal he would likely be allowed to be out on bond pending appeal in the unlikely case he is given prison time.

As far as political damage this case will cause none even if found guilty. The strong case for appeal, claim of political persecution, unfair biased New York jury etc will make this case a non issue for Trump voters. It was also known prior to the 2020 election Trump fucked and paid off a porn star, and its was proven in court with Micheal Cohens conviction and jail sentence and Trump still got 74 million votes and only lost by 42,000 votes. This case is a non issue to voters.Biden supporters has such little hope I understand yall putting so much hope into this case though:)

Friday was about "Showing the Checks" and "How Checks were Signed".

The Gate Keeper & The Bookeeper

Trump's lawyers can question witnesses and Stormy...

The checks, who signed them, and the memos associated with the checks...that's the evidence...the paper trail. Trump lawyers have "no questions" and "no challenges" involving the paper trail (checks).

    Trump is fucked

    Interesting, a tweet from 2018...

MSNBC legal contributor Adam Klasfeld tweeted Friday that one of Bragg's paralegals read the tweet into the official record despite Trump's team unsuccessfully fighting to exclude it. The tweet itself, which was sent on May 3, 2018, while Trump was in the White House, reads: "Mr. [Michael] Cohen, an attorney, received a monthly retainer, not from the campaign and having nothing to do with the campaign, from which he entered into, through reimbursement, a private contract between two parties, known as a non-disclosure agreement, or NDA."...

New Republic writer Ellie Quinlan Houghtaling described the tweet as "further evidence that Trump was aware of multiple $35,000 checks to Cohen inked by his two sons, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., as well as Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg, made via a revocable trust."

Cohen served a three-year federal prison sentence in 2018 for his role in the hush money scheme Trump is accused of orchestrating, and for other crimes including tax evasion.

"In one instance, COHEN caused American Media, Inc. (“AMI”)... to make a $150,000 payment to one woman; in the other, COHEN made a $130,000 payment to another woman through an LLC he incorporated for the purpose of making the payment,".

    ----------

In addition to the sentence of imprisonment, Judge Pauley also ordered COHEN, 52, of New York, New York, to pay a fine of $50,000, to forfeit $500,000, to pay $1,393,858 in restitution to the IRS, and to pay a mandatory $800 special assessment. Separately, COHEN was ordered to pay a $50,000 fine and to pay a $100 special assessment in the case brought by the SCO. COHEN was also sentenced to concurrent three-year terms of supervised release in both cases, to follow his term of imprisonment.

    ----------

So Cohen was given a 3-year sentence in 2018 for the same Hush Money Scheme and tax evasion.

I don't know why Trump was not indicted in 2018 for the same Hush Money Scheme...maybe it was arranged to indict Trump after he was no longer the President of the United States ???

I'm curious as to where Cohen served his prison sentence...maximum security prison or minimum security prison. It could give us the insight into what's to come for Donald Trump.

The sad part, other people have gone to prison for doing the same thing although not a politician and they had LESS of a paper trail and FEWER witnesses.

That's what I would call maybe the most expensive porn star fuck because it has impacted so many lives beyond the $130k payment.

Answer to my above question: In February 2019, the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, disbarred Cohen from practicing law in the state. In May 2019, he reported to the federal prison near Otisville, New York...a medium-security prison. In November 2021, he completed his sentence.

It could have been much worst, Trump could have fathered children with Stormy and McDougal. Yet, had that occurred...would be an "impossible" to continue stating there was "No Sex" especially after DNA paternity tests. :vomit:
