    How is that possible ???

Trump is so popular with Americans (sarcasm)...they couldn't call in sick for one day or they're waiting for the jury selection to be complete so that they will be ready to attack whenever Trump gives them a clue when to attack ???

  4. This is Trump's latest reason for immunity...

Trump's latest SCOTUS argument for presidential immunity

Former President Donald Trump's latest filing in the presidential immunity case that will be heard before the Supreme Court next week has shocked one legal expert for its "audacious" claims.

Trump's attorneys Monday filed a 33-page response to special counsel , Trump's attorneys build their case on the experiences of two other former presidents: Richard Nixon and the man who pardoned him, Gerald Ford.

"President Ford stated that 'years will have to pass before Richard Nixon could hope to obtain a fair trial by jury in any jurisdiction of the United States,'" Trumps lawyers write. "Thus, Ford made the same judgment as the Framers...that the prosecution of a former President should not, and could not fairly, proceed in Article III courts."

Righties must understand on some level that if Trump gets immunity, so does Biden and every subsequent president. Is this really what they want?

I can't remember which Republican congressman said something similar when the far-right of the party and some of ET's talking heads wanted to investigate Biden...

Trump gaining immunity from the Supreme Court will produce immunity for Biden and any other President going forward.

Yet, Trump's stupidity and treatment of Biden between the 2020 election and Biden's Inauguration including the attack on Democracy and the U.S. Constitution on January 6th, 2021...

I do not expect Biden to Pardon Trump if Trump goes to prison. It's a completely different situation then Ford pardoning Nixon because those two were friends and respected each other.

On the other hand, maybe a prisoner exchange could be agreed upon between Russia and the United States...send Trump to Russia in exchange for the American's wrongly imprisoned in Russia. :D :sneaky: :p

    Sleepy Joe, meet Dozing Don.

Donald Trump, who has repeatedly derided his Democratic opponent Joe Biden with digs at his age and vigor, appeared to nod off in Manhattan court on Monday, hours before jury selection on the first day of his historic hush-money criminal trial.

The former US president seemed to slip toward sleepiness at approximately noon. The events unfolded several hours into lugubrious legal battles over evidence that dominated the morning session in the downtown Manhattan courtroom.

The housekeeping back-and-forth between Trump’s team and prosecutors seemed like it might finally come to an end, as the judge Juan Merchan appeared eager to move things along. Merchan noted that there were hundreds of potential panelists waiting in the wings for jury selection to start.

Right around this time, reporters in the overflow courtroom noticed a curious movement on-screen. Trump’s eyes appeared closed – beyond their normal level of squinting. Meanwhile, it seemed like Trump’s head was edging forward, progressing downward until it would cause him to stir and right himself.

The cycle repeated several times. Members of the press in a media overflow room glanced toward one another, sometimes pointing to the screen, uncertain how to process what they most certainly saw: the first former American president to face a criminal trial had just nodded off in court...

I think Trump should stay off social media and Truth Social for a while to get proper rest instead of staying up at night attacking the Judicial system and other Americans.

If he doesn't, he'll soon be drinking those energy drinks to keep him awake in court.
