While I think a smaller number of Dems would want a dictatorship than republicans thats only because of the divide between progressive and moderate democrats with progressives not wanting a moderate democrat like Biden for life.Democrats were fine with FDR serving for life. While he did win 4 elections that was just a formality imo.

While FDR did dictatorship like things like The Japanese internment camps ,seize peoples gold, tried to pack The SC with his judges etc.

The fact that most Dems were fine with FDR serving for life and most Republicans are fine with Trump serving for life it is credible to say most would like a dictatorship if it was their guy that was the dictator.

Indicted criminal Donald Trump is upset he can't make his appeal bond. He spent all the early am hours on Truth Social attacking Judge Engoron.

In addition, although not yet tested, presidents can pardon state charges as well owing to The Federal Supremacy Clause in The US Constitution.

You might be right. The Federal Supremacy Clause may not need to be used as justification.

That said I do not support any pardons period, especially after Trump was selling/trading them before he left office.

Also if Trump wins the Presidency I am sure Gov. Kemp of Georgia would pardon Trump so he can serve

Let's look at reality... "THE GOVERNOR CANNOT ISSUE PARDONS IN GEORGIA".

Georgia’s peculiar pardon system is bad news for Trump
"Trump couldn’t even seek help from the state’s governor, because in Georgia, unlike many other states, the governor cannot issue pardons."

Could Trump Be Pardoned in Georgia? Good Luck.
Georgia has a Republican governor and legislature. Yet, for any number of reasons, a Trump pardon there is all but out of the question.

Not too late to self correct Tony, even GWB is trying. Some light reading for your recovery:
