are there any divisions of banks/investment houses/funds that look to hire daytraders with TA experience? or is this not a valuable skillset for wall st. i.e. transisitioning daytrading experience --> wall st job.
If you can trade you are always welcome i guess. Perhaps they don´t like to call quantification, statistics or what else for TA but it´s the same thing.
what does "daytrader with TA experience" mean? A trader who thinks he can read charts but is not profitable? A trader who can read charts and is highly profitable? Of course, if you're highly profitable, why are you seeking employment? Maybe barely profitable?
For a trader, their track record is simply the only valuation they have. If you want to do other roles like research, IT, Back-Office and others ... then that's a different story.
