I use a cash account with TDA via TOS. No PDT rules with cash account. Trading stocks still has the t+3 settlement. I prefer options, same day settlement. PDT only applies to margin accounts. Plus tastytrade cash account rates are pretty great depending on your uses. 4.95 equties, 1.50/contract options

Would my account be subject to Pattern Day Trading rules?

Your account is not subject to FINRA’s Pattern day trading rule because we are a not a FINRA member firm and executed all of your trades in a principal capacity. You can day trade with our firm with a $500 account balance. All transactions are executed against Swiss America Securities, Ltd. in a principal capacity and we may make money trading as your counter-party. You should consider this conflict of interest before placing trades.

    I checked their website.
    They said:
"The TradeZero smart router will route the non-matched orders to market centers that provide payment for order flow or rebates. These market centers include ARCA, EDGX, BATS, NSDQ and others."
So, how about their smart router?Would you feel delay when you place a limit order?

I am an American, opened an accountw Tradezero but haven't funded it yet (for bitcoin but it looks like i get access to everything!?). With limit orders I will no doubt miss a lot of fast movers. Btw, order flow kickbacks are pretty common, and not that big a deal for a piker like me ($10k is my max size). Anyway, if it turns I get full access I will update. If you want to trade size, then consider CY or a regular prop. Have a good one

I always found it strange how there are limits on how often one can trade, but no limits on how often one can gamble. Guess states depend too much on gambling revenue.

State law versus federal, but yes it is a bit ironic.
