Is there any alternative to trading from a desk with monitors?
You could try a PDA if small and mobile is what you are looking for.
Or you can call your broker over the phone to place orders - something a little nostalgic.
Hook up your PC to your Plasma TV and trade from the couch with a wireless keyboard.
WIFI on your laptop @ the pool works well under an umbrella!
wifi laptop + la-Z-boy + offsite blade-server on fiber which does the actual TA / placement.
laptop under a palm tree on the beach
Crawl under the desk.
Or try a more open space (See attachment)

B. A large winning lottery ticket.
C. A job.
Honestly, I am thinking of trading from the couch, as my back hurts each day, sit there 30 min before AO till 1 or 2 hours after the end)
Planning to move, that's why I am seeking suggestion on something more comfortable than a desk.
I try to stay on my feet as much as possible. I think it helps keep the energy level up. I also have three different chairs I use to keep my back from getting agitated.
I think the ultimate would be a round room completely covered in monitors with a glass ceiling to let natural light in.
one and only time I rode a taxi in New York all the driver did for the whole journey was place orders with his broker on a mobile.
