A lot of the crap we see from the chicken little men is from just a few conservative news sources and maybe it is time to ruin their game a little. Some compulsory balance, perhaps a part of each page which must be open to fact checking. This is appalling. The guy very specifically and carefully stated in the interview he is anti-fascist but not a member of any groups. 100 percent anti-fascist is put as 100 percent antifa the nebulous organisation. This is intentional and changing the words from his mouth, not an opinion sidebar.
I'm really not a good person to debate with because I enjoy fact checking. There's been riots and civil unrest since the early 1700's in America. Therefore, technically, you're right that riots have existed before the Pandemic of 2020. You're misinformed if to believe there's "no connection" between the riots of 2020 with Covid-19. Yet, don't misunderstand, I'm not saying its the only connection nor saying its the primary connection...I'm saying its the match that lit the fire that became a roaring fire due to Police brutality. Imagine if Covid-19 did not occur. There will be no Pandemic, no Lockdowns, no record level of unemployed from a Lockdown...people working instead of on the streets, people not scared to send their children to school / universities, countries now shutting their doors to Americans because it has too many citizens that are socially irresponsible during a Pandemic... Everything that has been occurring was via the Pandemic (Covid-19) that was a match on a gasoline of a systemic problem. Yet, that match was lit when Trump stated Covid-19 was a "Hoax by Democrats" at a rally and soon after that he continues via stating that "Wearing a face mask was not patriotic". My point...Trump turned a health crisis into a Political crisis. Only one other U.S. President has done that before and that was Gerald Ford in 1976 when he ran for re-election against Jimmy Carter during a Pandemic. He lost because he turned a health crisis into a Political event. It was a perfect storm involving the watch under Trump and he failed to exploit it via making face mask wearing a national mandate (we'll have +70k less dead)...that's your match on the fire even though there's been riots since early 1700's. That rhetoric and the attack on China travel while allowing the Europeans to bring in Covid-19 for about 30 days after the ban on travel from China during a time period when other countries closed their borders to Europe...the U.S. is were it deserves to be with Covid-19 due to its misguided delayed reaction. Remember, a U.S. President started the mudslinging when the Pandemic was declared via calling it a Hoax by the Democrats. Ironically, the countries that Trump mocked (Yes, he mocked them) now have bans on American travellers that are not citizen of those countries. They don't want Americans because they see the U.S. as socially irresponsible in managing a Pandemic. The world sees the problem within the U.S. while the U.S. is unable to deal with it. Essentially its a clusterfuck within the U.S. Simply, the Pandemic was the straw that broke the camel's back. The good thing is that when peaceful protesting, civil unrest an riots don't work...there's one more tactic...its called an election. The other solutions that we don't want that has occurred twice in the American history...American Revolutionary War and Civil War. In fact, back in those days...the loser were usually shot until laws were quickly put in place to prevent a massacre. By the way, you mention riots tearing down society...rhetoric from a leader can do the same damage and many cases...fuel that tearing down of the society. All of this happen under Trump's watch and after his own rhetoric. wrbtrader
