"this protest is now deemed a riot" is all these fascists need to say to throw people in jail now.

Good riddance. Normally this is never said unless the rioters are destroying stuff or out after a declared curfew.

It was used all the time during the BLM protests. I for one will oppose your ilk in your fantasy of a police state and will continue to protect the American way of life and its freedoms.

Yes... when BLM protestors rioters are destroying stuff and disobeying the law then the authorities should quickly deem the event a riot.

  6. Even though the articles above are unsettling and point out a serious problem, the situation is actually much, much worse. The casual reader may not pick up on the fact that this large number of people being released IS JUST THE FEDERAL PORTION of the arrestees. Which for the most part means that they were arrested as part of the daily defense of the federal building and courthouse there that the maggots attempted to burn down on a daily basis.

Otherwise, there are hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of state and city arrested protested protesters and looters who were released, mostly no charges even with clear felonies have been committed, and then those who were charged had charges dropped by the state DA's. Probably a few outright killers who are wanted on multiple out of state warrants might have been held but they would be the rare ones.

And the other thing, is that one of the articles has a former federal prosecutor defending the prosecutors by saying that they were overwhelmed so some of cases had to be dismissed so on and so forth. That is mostly horseshiite. Some truth but not the explanation of the situation. The true story is that these people were arrested when Trump and Barr were in office and they were committed arresting and prosecuting in those areas where they had jurisdiction- at a time when Portland told them to get the fuck out of the city and make sure you not go anywhere that is not solidly on federal soil. Then when Biden took over he and the new DOJ staff got right to work dropping cases as rapidly as they could. That's why they were dismissed. Not for the other bullshit explanations.

Ironically things have changed a little bit now in that the Mayor, wheeler, had the protesters turn on him and since then he has been trying to marshall state, city, and federal forces to suppress the same losers that he supported and rioted with just last year. Yeh, he has not been happy about their trying to kill him one bit. Funny how dat works. Now he is not only no longer protecting them he is trying to get his former protester buddies to become turncoats and out the bad actors. I guess he is having some type of born again experience since his arse was in the sling and it was his job that became threatened rather than the local immigrants whose restaurants were burned and they fled for their lives. Asswipe.

Tell me, what are the voting rules in NC for someone deemed a felon for having been in a "riot"? Just like Nixon's scheduling of weed, we know what this "law" is all about.

Felons can vote in North Carolina after they complete their probation.

In 2020 a court decision in N.C. did away with the requirement that felons also pay any outstanding fines or fees before their right to vote is restored.
