Let's see how thinks are going back in in my area in Raleigh....

Notice that only a small percentage of the protestors are black... nearly all are white ANTIFA supporters. A coalition of black pastors in our area have come out stating they don't support these violent protests and ask that they stop.

Raleigh anti-police protest turns violent after curfew time
    https://www.foxnews.com/us/raleigh-anti-police-protest-turns-violent-after-curfew-time-reports

Rioters in North Carolina’s capital city smashed windows, splashed red paint and threw objects at law enforcement officers Friday night after ignoring a 10 p.m. curfew imposed on a downtown protest, according to reports.

The crowd in Raleigh also removed barriers from outside the Wake County Justice Center and tossed them into the street or into nearby bushes, Raleigh’s WRAL-TV reported.

“I would rather die out here tonight of pepper spray, rubber bullets and sticks than to die on the streets with people thinking I’m a devil,” Jeffrey Stallings, 34, of Raleigh, told the News & Observer as he waved a piece of barricade. “We’re people. We’re brothers and sisters.”

Police said via Twitter that they had made a number of arrests, but no specific total was immediately available.

Raleigh joined a list of cities nationwide – including New York City, Atlanta, Louisville, Ky.; Denver, Seattle, Portland, Ore.; and Los Angeles – that have seen frequent protests against police use of excessive force against African Americans and other minorities.

But critics say the unrest has been more about vandalism, looting and taking advantage of opportunities to commit other crimes.

Earlier in the evening in Raleigh, a group formed a circle and watched an American flag being burned, according to the station.

One man states it better than everyone else...

RNC Guest Mocks BLM Protesters Outside White House: 'Own Your Own Failures'
    https://www.newsweek.com/washington-protest-white-house-trump-1528240

Video has emerged showing an attendee at the final night of the Republican National Convention in Washington confronting Black Lives Matter protesters.

The clip shows the man, who has not been identified, telling a crowd outside security gates at the White House that they should "own your own failures."

The man then refers to one Black woman who is arguing with him as "darling" before adding "you are responsible for your own life, you are responsible for your own success and failures."

One male protester then accuses the RNC attendee of being a "pedophile" and attempts to knock a phone out of his hand.

The guest does not react to the baseless accusation but tells the crowd "and you're violent. Surprise, you're violent."

"We're not the ones committing the violence, we're not the one burning down neighborhoods, we're not the ones looting and smashing, we're not the ones stealing."

"Who cares, it's just crimes, it's just violence," he adds sarcastically.

The man remains filming the crowd and is confronted by others before the clip ends.

Employee at vandalized Kenosha business yells at rioters: ‘I got a family to support, I got f***ing kids to feed!’
'Are they trying to get Trump re-elected?'
    https://www.theblaze.com/news/employee-yells-at-kenosha-rioters

A distressed employee at a Papa John's restaurant in Kenosha, Wisconsin, shouted through smashed windows at a group of protesters outside the shop Wednesday pleading for an end to the violence.

The restaurant had evidently been vandalized as a part of the nightly riots that have continued this week following the police shooting of 29-year-old black man, Jacob Blake on Sunday.

"Are they trying to get Trump re-elected?" the man shouted in frustration. "Seriously!

"I got a family to support. I got f***ing kids to feed," he added.

In response, a woman can be heard saying: "These people don't represent our movement."

The man responded, "Well, I'm sorry, but they're with you."

The man's frustration is likely representative of the feeling that many Americans have toward Black Lives Matter demonstrations taking place across the country, as it is becoming increasingly difficult to differentiate between peaceful protests and angry riots.

That frustration likely only increases when it is your place of business that becomes the target of violence stemming from protests.

As if it were needed, Portland, Oregon, has served as a test case for what nightly riots mean for local business productivity. After three months of rioting there, a multitude of businesses have been forced to flee potentially causing "irreparable damage" to the city.

In Kenosha, the violence has been similarly pervasive.

Over the last several days, rioters have burned entire car lots, razed several small businesses, and smashed windows of buildings throughout the city. One rioter even pointed a gun directly into the face of a BlazeTV reporter.

On Tuesday night, an armed 17-year-old shot and killed two people and wounded a third after being involved in a clash with rioters. The suspect, Kyle Rittenhouse, has been charged with first-degree murder, among many other charges. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.

Jacob Blake's mother condemned the violence on Tuesday, saying she has been "hurt" and "disgusted" by the community's response.

"Please don't burn up property and cause havoc and tear your own homes down in my son's name," she said, apparently to little effect.

Note that I don't support these right-wing protestors that storm state capitals while armed either.

But you don't see these protestors showing up at the politicians homes..... and these same politicians who hawk "defund the police" suddenly demanding protection from these "dangerous protestors" who are aligned with their position.

Kenosha police arrest volunteers who provide food to protesters
The unpaid workers with Seattle-based Riot Kitchen were in "suspicious vehicles," authorities said.

Nine people arrested by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin, for allegedly being outside agitators were in the city to distribute food to protesters, a director of the nonprofit kitchen said Saturday.

Jennifer Scheurle, who serves on the board of directors for Riot Kitchen, based in Seattle, said Kenosha police were mistaken when they arrested the volunteers Wednesday for investigation of disorderly conduct.

"We’re not there to stir up anything," Scheurle said. "We just want to feed people. We support protesters of any kind."

The nine were released from jail Friday on about $150 bail each, paid with the help of donations, she said.

The Kenosha Police Department said it focused on three vehicles associated with the group after receiving a tip from a citizen "alerting us to several suspicious vehicles with out-of-state plates."

Officers and U.S. marshals surveilled the black school bus, food truck and minivan and moved in for arrests when the suspects attempted to fill gas cans with fuel at a gas station, the department said.

The driver of the minivan "attempted to drive away," Kenosha police said, and when officers caught up with it, they "forced entry." In video posted to social media and shared by Scheurle, police are seen breaking a minivan window after one officer shouts, "Get the [expletive] out."

Police said they found helmets, gas masks, fireworks and "suspected controlled substances" in the vehicles.

Kenosha police are under scrutiny for the potentially debilitating shooting of Jacob Blake, which set off three nights of violent protests, and for allowing a teenager accused of fatally shooting two demonstrators walk away from the scene.

Police Chief Daniel Miskinis said Friday that he could speak only generally about the incident, saying the people in the minivan were uncooperative and emphasizing the vehicles' out-of-state license plates. He used the term "shields" to describe the masks found by officers.

"Protective gear found in the bus is just that—protection for working in large crowds, masks for COVID protection," Riot Kitchen said in a statement. "We reject all claims that our crew was there to incite violence."

Scheurle said the fuel was to be used for generators for cooking, camping and food production. She said the minivan driver was not trying to flee but was exiting the gas station as police arrived. She also doubted that any illegal substances were found and suggested "residual" marijuana could have been present because the drug is legal in Washington.

She was surprised by the fireworks allegation, saying "We've never had fireworks anywhere."

The ACLU of Wisconsin called on Gov. Tony Evers and Attorney General Joshua Kaul on Friday to order an investigation into potential civil rights violations by law enforcement during the week's protests.

Riot Kitchen was started after the shooting of George Floyd in May as a way to get free hot food to demonstrators, Scheurle said. The bus is used as a camper for volunteers when they're on the road, she said.

Possessions, including cell phones, taken from volunteers during the arrests had not been returned and the vehicles were still in impound Saturday, she said

Its amazing that some people try to push the narrative that these are innocent out-of-staters providing food and water to protesters— when they are actually there to arm violent rioters to burn, loot and destroy.
