I don't see where Trump is dividing the country. Only the Democrats are doing it by hurling racial slurs, gender slurs and so on to divide and conquer.

I see Democrats play identity politics all the time. I don't see that with Trump.

'We called 911. We got nothing:' Downtown business owner blasts Raleigh response to weekend chaos
    https://abc11.com/we-called-911-we-...siness-owner-blasts-raleigh-response/6234290/

After hours of peaceful demonstrations against police brutality in Raleigh last Saturday and Sunday nights, Davie and Wilmington Streets became a hot zone for some of the more destructive behavior. There was looting at Reliable Jewelry, small fires set at Manhattan Café, and when the owner of Clyde Cooper's BBQ heard the Raleigh police chief's comments Friday about a civic responsibility to call 911 when bad things are happening, she had some strong feelings.

"You know you've got no protection with your city, for your city," Debbie Holt said. In her unmistakable Southern accent, the Clyde Cooper's proprietor is as angry as we've ever seen her. Where she's from, the word 'ill' means 'mad.' And the chaos from over the weekend has Holt running a fever: "Oh, I'm ill as hell."

Holt's anger reached a new boil after Friday's news conference with Raleigh's mayor and police chief.

"We all own this," said Police Chief Cassandra Deck-Brown, who at one point chastised the media for documenting destruction and looting on video this week, while not doing enough to stop it or inform the police.

"It's more than just a show that you follow the bad behavior to be out there to have a soundbite," Deck-Brown said. "There's a responsibility and accountability to tell the story, but to help prevent it also."

Holt's response to that was, "We called 911. We got nothing."

The restaurant owner said she spent Saturday and Sunday nights camped out all night long at her store after her caterer alerted her to the riots that broke out. Her store was largely spared. But she says her calls to 911 to save her neighbors' shops went ignored by dispatch.

"(The dispatcher) said we will not send anybody out if it's going to put our people in danger," Holt described. "And then I turned around and called, and a lady dispatcher answered. I said, 'look I don't think y'all understand, we're not calling for the fun of it. There is three blazes going on across the street. There are people that live around these houses.'"

Friday morning at City Hall, Mayor Mary-Ann Baldwin said, "We all care about our business community. They're the lifeblood."

But Holt insisted that the mayor and police chief took for granted that the peaceful protests would remain peaceful into the night. While the plywood nailed up on her restaurant carries hopeful messages in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, Holt is also busy online with her change.org petition to remove Mayor Baldwin and Chief Deck-Brown from office.

"If you're in charge of what the police chief did or the mayor does, your butt needs to go," Holt said. "Because you're not a leader."

Mayor Baldwin said city staff is setting up a meeting for her to sit down and talk to downtown business owners about what the city can do to assist them. If Debbie Holt is there, the mayor is likely to get an earful.

FBI: Three antifa members arrested after looting Target store in Austin
    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...n-austin?utm_source=smartnews&utm_medium=feed

The FBI arrested three people who it says are members of antifa for looting a Target in Austin, Texas, late last month.

The three people, identified as Lisa Hogan, 27, Samuel Miller, 22, and Skye Elder, 23, were among a group of about 20 people who broke into the building, stole items, and damaged property on May 31, according to KSAT.

Hogan was charged with rioting and burglary of a building, Miller was charged with criminal mischief and burglary of a building, and Elder was charged with burglary of a building. Bond was set at $25,000 per charge for each person.

Members of the Austin Police Department Special Response Team arrived shortly after the break-in and apprehended the trio. The property damages and stolen merchandise have been valued at more than $20,000.

“The violence, threat to life, and destruction of property we have seen in Austin and other parts of the country jeopardizes the rights and safety of all citizens, including peaceful demonstrators,” said Christopher Combs, the special agent in charge of the FBI's San Antonio Division. The FBI said the three are known members of antifa.

Minnesota Man Who Allegedly Bragged About Rioting On Social Media Arrested On Arson Charges
    https://dailycaller.com/2020/06/18/...harge-minneapolis-police-third-precinct-riot/

A Minnesota man who allegedly bragged on social media about being among the first people present for the burning of the Minneapolis Police Department’s Third Precinct has been arrested on arson charges, numerous sources reported.

Bryce Michael Williams, 26, was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit arson after authorities say he was captured in a video standing near the entrance of the Third Precinct on May 28 holding a Molotov cocktail as others tried to ignite it, Twin Cities reported.

Williams made his initial court appearance Wednesday. His arrest follows that of several others who were arrested for helping stoke the fire that engulfed the Minneapolis police precinct the same week of the death of George Floyd, who died after a police officer knelt on his neck for nearly 9 minutes.

Investigators identified Williams in surveillance footage from the police station and from social media posts. In videos posted to his TikTok account, Williams was seen standing in front of the burning station wearing clothing matching that from the surveillance footage he was allegedly seen in. The criminal complaint also states that William’s face was visible in another video where he’s allegedly seen standing near the precinct, Twin Cities reported.

Williams also told The Nate Thirty Show that he participated in the riots during an online interview. “I participated in the riots, of course,” Williams told The Nate Thirty Show. “I’m with my people.” He added that he was “there when they first burned down the police station,” and that rioting was justified as a form of protest, while looting was not, according to the CBS Minnesota affiliate.

When Williams was asked if burning buildings is part of the rioting, he replies “yeah, definitely, that’s part of rioting, it’s mass destruction — that’s what rioting is, it’s mass destruction.”

Williams is the latest person to be arrested in relation to the burning of the police precinct. Dylan Shakespeare Robinson, 22, was arrested Sunday in the parking lot of a ski resort in Colorado and charged Tuesday with aiding and abetting the arson of the precinct May 28.

Branden Michael Wolfe, 23, had also taken several items from the building, including a 9mm pistol magazine and police radio, according to authorities, and was recently arrested and charged with aiding and abetting arson.
