Antibody tests support what’s been obvious: Covid-19 is much more lethal than the flu

I looked carefully, I'm not confident it is. Four books to finish...sitting there six months and more.

I wish I were better than I am @Snarkhund but I actually don't perceive any difference between someone trying to pass nonsense as real and an ad hom attack on me.

The captain makes sense sometimes but other times..you just get cross for letting yourself get sucked in..

  2. That’s a big 10-4. Dumb and happy vs smart and miserable?

No toilet paper this time. Oh well.

Is This ‘Barack + Hussein + Obama = COVID-19’ Protest Sign Real?
The math in this image isn't the only thing that's off.

In April 2020, the above-displayed image of a person holding a protest sign started to circulate on social media. The sign appeared to show how the words “Barack Hussein Obama” contained 19 letters and that the disease at the center of the ongoing pandemic, COVID-19, also contained that number.

This is not a genuine photograph. Furthermore, when you add up the number of letters in “Barack Hussein Obama” (6 + 7 + 5), you get 18, not 19.

This manipulated image was created from a genuine photograph of a protester at a demonstration in Huntington Beach, California, which took place in spite of the state’s shelter-in-place orders. The original photograph was taken by Jeff Gritchen of the Orange Country Register on April 17, 2020, and showed a protester holding a sign bearing the words “Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death.”

Here’s a look at the real photograph (left) and the doctored image (right):

The original photograph can be viewed here, where it is accompanied by the following caption:

Sarah Mason, from Covina, joins a crowd of people gathered at the corner of Main Street and Walnut Avenue in Huntington Beach, CA, to protest coronavirus (COVID-19) closures on Friday, April 17, 2020. (Photo by Jeff Gritchen, Orange County Register/SCNG)

This isn’t the first time that we’ve encountered a rumor concerning the name of the virus at the center of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. For instance, COVID-19 does NOT stand for “Chinese-Originated Viral Infectious Disease.”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) explains how COVID-19 got its name in this passage, which appears on the CDC website:

On February 11, 2020 the World Health Organization announced an official name for the disease that is causing the 2019 novel coronavirus outbreak, first identified in Wuhan China. The new name of this disease is coronavirus disease 2019, abbreviated as COVID-19. In COVID-19, ‘CO’ stands for ‘corona,’ ‘VI’ for ‘virus,’ and ‘D’ for disease. Formerly, this disease was referred to as “2019 novel coronavirus” or “2019-nCoV”.

There are many types of human coronaviruses including some that commonly cause mild upper-respiratory tract illnesses. COVID-19 is a new disease, caused by a novel (or new) coronavirus that has not previously been seen in humans. The name of this disease was selected following the World Health Organization (WHO) best practice for naming of new human infectious diseases.[/QUOTE]

Easy bro. Your posts are valued. I read them carefully. Don't trip.

As I said, when you are coldly clinical you are most effective. I recognize it because its what I do in meetings.

    Everyone would be dead.
    100%.
    Old people die twice.
They get double strength COVID. COVID 38!
Let’s start with that assumption and work backwards.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah. Another blunder by this idiot. In the other thread he tells Americans to act like Swedes, only to find out swedes are fucking skateboarding at skateparks and going to the beach. Just knows how to google shitty memes and post them here to sound clever. Then he talks about how high his IQ is. Go read your books smartass.

    Alcohol.

    We all despise a drunk.

But actual drunkeness? I am honestly not sure I am even capable of it anymore. I cannot remember the last time consumption of alcohol resulted in actual intoxication.

My liver is like yeah no. Age is another factor. To put enough into me to get intoxicated would be unpleasant.

Lately I've developed a taste for Argentine Cabernet Sauvignon which is cheap and abundant here. But once its gone its gone until they start selling alcohol again here.

The city is still locked down. The postal service is closed. No air freight. Passport suffix determines your days to enter town for 2 hours. I have noticed non-essential business being conducted and I was able to scratch on the front door of a hardware store until the lone employee gestured for me to go around the back. Speakeasy bullshit to buy a pack of machine screws but that is how we get it going again.

  9. Opinions, they do vary. Not to worry about those poor souls I'm offering some help. One of the first things I tell them if they want to reduce their level of stress is to stop watching the news and stay off internet message boards. Should probably take my own advice more often. Enjoy your book.

  10. Agreed... in my State the grocery is not packed but still they have signs to separate people in line or at the deli or butcher counters...99% of the people out are wearing masks except for the ignorant 1% (saw an older gentlemen at the grocery with no mask walking around and God forbid he gets sick and complains).

I hope my State starts looking to open certain establishments under rules because we have had like 13,000 cases in the entire State. My county alone is 1,000,000 people with maybe 4,000 cases total.

this idea that we lockdown and stay in place until this goes away is what it feels like Governors are proposing so time to let us out with strict rules in place for safety.
