ANTI-WAR/USA BASHERS: WHERE ARE YOU NOW, MFERS?!?!

Discussion in 'Politics' started by FRuiTY PeBBLe, Apr 9, 2003.

  1. IN BAGHDAD, THERE ARE IRAQIS IN THE STREETS WITH THEIR SHIRTS OFF, WAVING TO THE ALLIES. EARLIER, I SAW AN IRAQI MAN SLAMMING A SHOE INTO A SADDAM HUSSEIN PICTURE. YOU CAN PUT ON YOUR TV RIGHT NOW AND SEE IRAQI MEN SHAKING HANDS WITH AND HUGGING ALLIED SOLDIERS.

NO MATTER WHAT THE ISSUE IS, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SOME FOOLS (msfe, candletrader, etc.) WITH A STUPID OPINION. IT JUST SO HAPPENS THAT YOU HAPPENED TO BE ONE OF THEM THIS TIME. AMERICA ISN'T PERFECT, BUT IT IS GREAT!

  3. Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner! Oh long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion,
A home and a country should leave us no more!
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps' pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

  4. Can't wait to see the Iraqis pull down that big Saddam statue! What a wonderful sight! I hope they tie the rope on to one of our tanks if they need help.

msfe, let me guess, all these Iraqis trying to knock over the statue are Americans/Kuwaitis dressed up as Iraqis? haha you're a damn fool. Time to think of a new conspiracy, dude! I bet you're so pissed off and just waiting for something bad to happen. LOSER!!!!!!!!!

I'm seeing sights on the streets of Iraq which remind me of 1979 Tehran. Here is hoping that what follows is better for the people of Iraq!!

  8. I must admit, the people who opposed this war must feel like they are eating dog shit right now because apparently 99% of the Iraqi citizens are embracing us and very happy that we have come into Baghdad.

I myself totally underestimated just how repressed these people were. I was expecting massive casualties when we got into Baghdad and the only thing I see is massive celebration.

Bush took a huge international gamble and won. Go USA! Thank god we had the balls to take a stand when the rest of the world just sat back and hid in the corner.

Tommy Franks is a freakin genius! This guys mantra was "Speed kills....the enemy" and he proved it.
